Field Trip Options
Each year over 5,000 kindergarten through 12th grade students participate in environmental education programs at Merry Lea. Programs are designed to fit with school curriculums as well as State
Science Standards.
Bring your students to the beautiful prairies at Merry Lea, or have them participate in our popular "hands-on" Farmcraft program. Most field trips have a small fee per student. Additionally, field trips vary depending on the time of year. Pay close attention to the registration deadlines; our popular programs fill up quickly!
Explore the field trip options on the following pages. Also, feel free to contact us with specific questions at any time.
"We made apple cider. It is like juice. We put the apples in the machine. I had to roll it [crank the handle] then the juice came out." – Darwin, 1st grade
